Guardian Staff Attack

The ultimate in personal security for staff at risk in the workplace

Increasing hostility encountered in workplace environments places employees at risk and affects staff morale. Protect your staff with Guardian, the ultimate in personal security systems.

The Guardian transmitter is worn by each member of staff. The system has two levels of call: "assistance" and "attack". In the event of an attack the unit is tugged from the retaining clip, sending out continuous attack signals to receiver units located throughout the area covered by the system. These units transmit to display units which sound the alarm and identify the exact location of the incident and the personnel involved in full alphanumeric text.

Discreet:

The Guardian transmitters are discreet, easy to use and have two levels of call: "assistance" and "attack". This enables the Guardian System to be used as an attack alarm and also by staff to summon assistance at a touch of a button without having to leave the scene of the incident.

Safe:

The Guardian System is easy to use by design with no buttons to press in an emergency and instant transmission of the unique signal. Key staff members can be assigned with pagers to alert them of incident locations and the level of assistance required. Resetting the system can also be carried out by key personnel with a Guardian reset transmitter, in the area the call was initiated or by a key switch at the display.

The Guardian System registers and cancels each signal individually and displays multiple calls in the order they are received, with an “attack” signal overriding all “assistance” calls until it has been dealt with.

Flexible:

Every workplace is different and the Guardian System is easily adapted to your environment. Options such as the silent mode to prevent alarms aggravating critical situations, or zoning in areas so that only local incidents are displayed, enable the Guardian System to work with you and in your best interests.

The Guardian System can be easily expanded to cover additional internal and external areas and can be upgraded in line with your requirements at any time. By installing the Guardian System you can provide peace of mind for your staff enabling them to continue with their duties in a secure environment.

Reliable:

Any attack system has to be totally reliable to ensure your staff has complete confidence in the protection you are providing. The Guardian System utilises a combination of advanced Infrared and optional Radio Technology; ensuring that wherever your member of staff’s location, either inside the building or outside (e.g. a car park, courtyard or garden) their call will be received.

For added reliability, the Guardian System has a built-in “call follower” feature. Once an “attack” call has been made, the Guardian transmitter will continue to transmit “attack” signals which are picked up by the nearest receiver unit. If the incident moves to another part of the building, the latest location will be tracked by the Guardian System and will show on the display ensuring that help will go to the right place.

Key Components:

DISP1 Corridor Dispay

DISP1 Corridor Display

The alphanumeric LCD display unit identifies the location of each incident, along with the level of assistance required. The display can also show the identity of the staff member calling for assistance.

  • Shows clearly who has made a call and where they are located
  • Different tones available for different levels of call
  • Can be configured to operate independently or as a slave display
AIRX7 Receiver

AIRX7 HF IR Addressable Receiver

Addressable IR receivers are positioned inside the building to provide complete infrared coverage, all receiver units use an algorithm which prevents several units being activated from one staff activation device.

  • Receives calls made by staff members on their personal activation device (STC5 or STC8)
  • Incorporates the latest HF technology to minimise disruption by high frequency lighting
  • Built in confidence LED and anti-tamper switch reassures staff
AIRX4 Receiver

AIRX4 IR Addressable Receiver

Addressable IR receivers are positioned inside the building to provide complete infrared coverage, all receiver units use an algorithm which prevents several units being activated from one staff activation device.

  • For use on legacy systems only, as replacements or spares
  • Receives calls made by staff members on their personal activation device (STC5 or STC8)
  • Built in confidence LED and anti-tamper switch reassures staff
STC5 Activation Device

STC5 IR Staff Activation Device

The STC5 personal activation device is worn by all members of staff that require protection. It uses infrared technology to generate a call and identify the location and user ID.

  • Programmable for a number of call types
  • Easy to use rip out pin sends an immediate attack call
  • Can be programmed as a reset fob for manager use
STC8 Activation Device

STC8 IR/RF Staff Activation Device

The STC8 personal activation device is worn by all members of staff that require protection. This dual technology fob provides RF back up to the infrared, or additional coverage to larger external areas such as staff car parks where it is impractical to use infrared.

  • Programmable for a number of call types
  • Easy to use rip out pin sends an immediate attack call
  • Can be programmed as a reset fob for manager use
AIRX8 IR Receiver

AIRX8 Addressable External IR Receiver

The Addressable InfraRed External Receivers use infrared technology to detect incidents in outside locations.

  • Provides infrared coverage for external areas such as car parks, patios and gardens
  • Specially designed to prevent interference from sunlight
  • Fully addressable
ARFX5 Radio Receiver

ARFX5 Addressable Radio Receiver

Addressable Radio Receiver Units are used in external areas where infrared coverage is not available. Housed within a metal IP65 rated weatherproof enclosure, these receivers offer superb reliability.

  • Provides radio coverage for external areas such as car parks, patios and gardens
  • Can also provide backup for the IR receivers inside a building
  • Fully addressable
