Reflex Plus II

The most important product in the STT Condigi portfolio is probably the care phone - mostly sold under the name Reflex Plus II. It is a product easy to support and manage. Equipped with the best pendant in the world - Tx3 - it offers better price/performance than any other dispersed alarm or care phone on the market.

The Reflex Plus series of care phones can be seen as an alarm central in the home.  Eight (8) different alarm sensors/transmitters can be connected to each care phone. A typical set-up could be:

  • 2 pcs Tx3
  • 2 Fall Sensors
  • Infra-Red sensor
  • Smoke detector
  • Door alarm
  • Mat-alarm

All these eight accessories are attached over radio 869 with integrated radio transmitters.

TX3

The best pendant in the world !

The new Tx3 has superior battery-lifetime, and substantially improved transmission range.

Tx3 has a battery lifetime of more than 30,000 alarms, equivalent to 16 alarm per day for 5 years. Thereafter a battery alarm is sent to the STT care phone, which is redirected to the alarm central. After a low battery indication, around 20% battery capacity still remains.

The Tx3 transmission range is measured to between 120 - 250 metres in open air. Indoors we guarantee minimum 25 metres, but the range indoors is often between 60 - 80 metres, depending on building construction. Note that is very important to perform a transmission range test for each installation. This is to reassure that the alarm works correctly in all areas used in direct connection to the apartment.

A new function in the Tx3 is that the unit performs a daily test alarm to verify the communication with the Reflex Plus II carephone. When no connection has been established with the carephone during a period of 52 hours (default value), an alarm is sent to the alarm central.

The Tx3 uses the EU frequency 869,2125 MHz, dedicated for social alarms. This means that no other alarm types, remote controls or toys can disturb or block the Tx3 alarm signal. This means higher security and safety for the user.

The alarm transmitter Tx3 is water-proof, 30 minutes at the depth of 1 metre, according to the IP67 standard. The unit is completely solid, battery change can not be performed by the user.

The Tx3 is delivered as standard together with the STT Reflex Plus II care phone, and is also integrated in accessories like the STT Radiobox 869, STT Smoke detector 869 and STT IR-detector 869.

Optical Smoke warning device GIRA w. radio (869 MHz) and alcaline batteries - Aluminium

We have added a new optical smoke detector from Gira, with integrated 869 radio, with Tx3 functionality. It attaches to the care phone the same way as a Tx3 pendant, and includes low battery alarms on the Tx3 battery level.

The smoke detector battery will generate a sound alarm when low.

Infra Red Detector 869 Wall

Connects to Reflex Plus II or III

The IR detector 869 is available in two models, a floor version and a wall mounted version. It detects motion and sends an alarm to an STT Condigi care phone like the Reflex Plus II / III. How you place the detector determines the functionality.

The alarm is sent via radio communication using the 869 MHz frequency for social alarms. The unit is equipped with alcaline batteries. Link test can be used - so that when no alive signal is received by the care phone from the IR detector during a stiputated time - normally 52 hours - an alarm is generated to the alarm central to indicate poor functionality.

IR-detector 869 can be attached to the Reflex Plus II & III and Careline 12 & 13 carephones.

 IR Detector 869 Floor

The IR-detector is used to detect when a person leaves the bed or room, and can be mounted on a floor console or on the wall. It detects motion and sends an alarm to an STT Condigi care phone like the Reflex Plus II / III .  The placement of the detector determins how the functionality will be.

The alarm is sent via radio communication using the 869 MHz frequency for social alarms. The unit is equipped with alacaline batteries. Link test can be used - so that when no signal is received by the care phone from the IR detector during a stiputated time - normally 52 hours - an alarm is generated.

IR-detector 869 can be attached to the Reflex Plus II & III carephones.

Fall Sensor 869

Connects to the STT Condigi Carephones over Radio

Three times as many fatal accidents occur from falls at home than from traffic accidents. This indicates a huge future market in this segment. The Fall Sensor 869 is an accessory for direct connection to the STT Condigi Reflex range of care phones. It is now also available with different wearable accessories.

The STT radio protocol is integrated in the device as standard. Weight is merely 67 grams. Reach is 75-100 meters and the unit offers a 12 months battery life-time. The units is equipped with 2 non-rechargeable Lithium batteries and offer 12 months battery life-time.

RadioBox 869

Connects up to 5 alarm sensors to carephone

Any alarm sensor can be connected to the Reflex or Careline care phone products. Several alarm sensors have integrated radio capability over 869 MHz. Some sensors like CO-alarms or temperature alarms are more convenient for our customers to buy the required alarm sensor locally, and attach them using the T-Box for one single sensor, or the Radiobox for up to 5 sensors. When receiving a closing contact from the alarm sensor, the Radiobox will send an alarm to the care phone via radio.

Different alarm types can be set for the 5 different alarm sensors.

Careousel 869

Pill dispensor with alarm

Careousel is an automatic, programmable pill dispensor that contains 28 pill positions. At pre-defined times, 1-28 times per day, the pill dispensor is turned one position and the next compartment will be available through an opening on the top of the unit, and a programmable reminder signal is generated. Medicine in the next compartment will not be available.

The unit is equipped with a radio transmitter mounted on the inside of the Careousel 869. The alarm is sent over radio to the care phone Reflex Plus II/III. The care phone can then send an alarm to a monitoring station.

if the medicine is not taken within the pre-defined time, an alarm is generated. To re-set the unit - it must be turned up-side down. This is done when taking a pill from the unit - and the unit is then re-set. The reminder signal is repeated during 1 hour.

Careousel can be filled up for a weeks medication with 4 pills per day or for 2 weeks with 2 pills per day. The dispensor is locked to prevent over medication.

Reflex 2 Hand Terminal

The Reflex Plus II & II and Careline 12 & 13 are programmed using an external Hand Terminal or programming device, specially developed for this purpose. The Hand Terminal, also called HT II, can store 5-10 different settings used for different clients.

There are a number of advantages with the unit.

Fast start-up time
Always works
No theft risk
Easy to use

As second alternative you may program the dispered alarms or care phones using a modem and a special program called Win HT. Then you dial in over the standard telephone line and answers by pressing 3 times on the green button of the unit. Then you enter the programming mode. The screen will look the same as the HT II.

The third alternative is to program all the care phones attached to an alarm central, together with the daily test alarm. This is can be done when a telephone prefix is changed for a district, or another general change shall be made. Then the monitoring station must use the STT protocol. STT allows monitoring stations to integrate the STT protocol under an NDA agreement.
