Detects the first signs of bed wetting and raises an alarm either locally in the room or via the nurse call system so that staff can respond.
The sensor mat is placed underneath the bed sheet and is connected to the control unit. When the sensor detects moisture, the control unit begins to alarm. As the sensor is underneath the sheet, there is no contact with the resident and nothing to disturb them while they sleep.
