The Alerta Wireless Floor sensor mat raises an alarm when the client steps on the mat, for instance when they have left their bed or chair and have begun to wander. As soon as they step onto the mat, an alarm is raised. As this is a wireless system, there are no trailing wires to trip up residents or get in the way! Perfect for positioning alongside a bed or beside a doorway so that staff know when a resident is on the move.
The floor sensor mat sends a signal wirelessly to the receiver unit which is plugged into the call point in the residents room. This raises the alarm on the nurse call system so that staff can respond. It can also be used stand-alone as the controller has it's own alarm function, making it perfect for use in a family home! The volume can be deactivated for silent in-room operation when connected to a nurse call system.
