eZone: What's different? Simplicity!

Multiple call levels: call, assist, emergency, fall, panic, wet bed, chair, en-suite, pull cord, door, epilepsy, you name it and you can have it but only a single button to press – not 2, 3, 4 or 5, not a choice of various coloured buttons, avoiding staff confusion, requiring minimal training and ensuring fast adoption by temporary or bank staff.

One button for the resident so no more emergency calls for a cup of tea or a new staff member accidentally sending the wrong alert type. Automatic call cancellation, when a staff member responds to a call and enters the room the alarm status changes automatically to staff present and the call is reset. No buttons to press, no confusion, it’s automatic and even the staff member name is logged.

When the staff member leaves the room the system logs them out automatically and even records how long they were present.

Require additional staff assistance? Press the single call point button – eZone knows there is a staff member in the room and will automatically raise the call to the next level.
 

eZone Staff & Patient Location

Staff location, all day, all night...automatically! No buttons to press, no logging in and forgetting to log out or not logging in at all. All activity is stored and recorded for audit trail and reporting. No more manual checklists or completing forms at the end of a shift.

Patient location is just as easy - a fob press sends an alert which provides the client name and current location so staff don’t waste time looking for a client who is wandering.

eZone Fall Monitoring

Fall monitoring is built in to every portable device as standard. It’s not an extra, its included because we were asked for it – repeatedly!

eZone Dementia & Wandering

Each individual can be set with their own care profile and risk assessment. Alarms can be raised if they leave their room, if they leave a floor level, if they leave the building or approach an area of risk such as a kitchen or stairwell. There is no requirement for door contacts or bed monitor sensors. Should a confused client enter someone else’s room, an immediate alert is sent to staff so they can respond accordingly.

eZone Access Control

Not only do we provide call points for doors that alert if opened but these can also act as an access control system. If the staff or client fob has the required access level the door is automatically unlocked, if not the door remains closed and secure. Any attempts to open an unauthorised door can be flagged and sent via an alert, so staff are always aware of what is happening.

eZone Call Event Customisation

Call Event customisation – room by room, device by device. Every client is different and has varying requirements and reasons to call – we listened to your concerns so instead of providing system wide global text labels such as CALL, ASSIST, EMERGENCY, eZone allows customised text per room and per client fob.

What might be a bed sensor for Mary in bedroom 1 can be a pear lead handset for Joe in bedroom 2 and the call event will tell you just that!
